Ever the crafty child...

Caroline has developed quite an affinity for the arts and crafts. Out of nowhere all of the sudden, she is so creative, constantly making up things to create. For Halloween, she made these little witches' boots out of toilet paper rolls. She also made pumpkin garland which received all kinds of compliments. She just recently came up with what she calls "my last great idea" (as if the vault of ideas was empty!). She wanted to make a hang glider that would really work -- go figure. These are just a few examples of what she has been working on.

From walking to running!

Andrew started walking a few weeks and you would think that he had been walking his entire life. He is all over the place pratically running around. He can bend down to pick things up, negotiates the sand like a pro and is quick to run down the driveway to the street. He is always on the go now!

Pumpkin patch

This year we made it to the pumpkin patch twice. Once with Caroline's preschool class and again with Gaga and Papa. The girls absolutely loved it and would have gone more it we could have! The pumpkin patch always makes for the cutest pictures and we took plenty of them. Hannah kept wanting to go on the wagon ride again and again and really developed a liking of the smaller pumpkins, constantly adding them to our wagon while Caroline was piling on the big ones. If we hadn't regulated, the girls would've had us spending hundreds of dollars on pumpkins!

Gaga and Papa come to visit!

Gaga and Papa came to visit during the most perfect weather week that we have had all year. Beautiful and 75 degrees the entire time. Needless to say, we spent a lot of time outside whether it was at the beach, at the pool, or at the house eating outside and playing on the water. We were also able to take a trip to the pumpkin patch where we took TONS of pictures. The kids loved having all of the extra attention and we all enjoyed their visit!

Look who is walking!!

Andrew took his first "real" steps today!! He has been taking one or two and then falling on top of me but today he walked at least 10 steps. Now I have been a definite doubter since Hannah didn't walk until she was almost 17 months but looks like Andrew will beat that. He is so proud of himself and I'm sure it will take some time before he takes off but we are started! Wow, no more babies in this house. I don't think I can remember the last time everyone in my house was standing upright all of the time! Way to go my baby!
